Breakfast Meeting

How to master your mind when you can’t

Being physically fit enables us to climb a steep hill with ease.  So, too, for your mind.  Being mentally fit allows us to handle work challenges more easily.

The science and practice of developing mastery over your mind is a system called Positive Intelligence, or PQ.  It enables us to weaken our negative emotions so we can improve relationships, performance, and productivity. It helps us recover quicker when we are thrown off balance.

How do we create a shift?

Knowing the voice in your head that speaks of being unworthy, not good enough, or underserving is the first step toward learning how to shift to the positive. The second step is to replace it with positive emotions such as curiosity, innovation, and empathy. And we do it through practice.

What will I learn at the session?

Join us at the next breakfast meeting on 4/29/2022 where Miriam Spinner, a PQ and career coach will host an engaging event to help kickstart your own shift.

As a result of participating in this session, attendees will:

  1. Gain insights into the science of a positive vs negative mindset
  2. Learn about the 10 saboteurs
  3. Understand the 5 sages that diminish your negative saboteur
  4. Identify your own saboteur
  5. Participate in a mental fitness practice to replace your thoughts with positivity

Pre-requisite to attend the session.  Take this Assessment (this info will be included in the event confirmation)

Take this no-cost 5-minute assessment to learn about your negative emotions that interfere with your work life.
