Bio:
Derick Brownell, PMP, serves as a Partner and Director of Sales and Business Development for The PMO Squad, a Project Management Consulting firm specializing in project delivery strategy, project management resources, and delivery training. For the past year and a half, Derick has lead record-breaking sales and exceeded revenue targets while driving strategic partnerships. Prior to The PMO Squad, Derick held Management Consulting, PMO Director, and Practice Director roles leading team efficiency, process improvement, and technology transformation across industries and customer segments. As a volunteer, Derick serves as the Director of Programs for the Arizona Chapter of SIM (Society of Information Management) and is a member of the Arizona Tech Council. Derick is a certified PMP, SAFe Agilest, cyber security solutions (Masergy, *Netskope/CASB, CBSE/Blockchain) and coaches in the Arizona Olympic Development Program for soccer over the past 13 years. In his spare time Derick enjoys family time traveling with his wife Megan, son Jonah, and daughter Dyllan. Derick graduated from the University of Santa Clara with a BA in Economics and where his daughter is wrapping up her freshman year.
