Title:

The Power of Storytelling in Project Management

Synopsis:

As project managers, we carry a vision of the completed project. Our job is to communicate that vision to the team and the organization. Have you tried using storytelling as a tactic to enhance your communications and convey the idea? Storytelling is vital for project managers seeking to communicate complex problems, establish relationships, connect with difficult stakeholders, and create compelling outcomes. By practicing and perfecting storytelling skills, the effectiveness of the communication outcomes can be heightened. This presentation aims to provide techniques for identifying opportunities to tell stories, developing the story structure, and sharing stories for the project and individual success.
