Completing design and construction projects in occupied facilities, many in 24/7 operations, is challenging. Bryan gives us an inside perspective of how Salt River Project manages capital facilities construction projects throughout SRP’s 17 valley campuses. The presentation includes identifying the broad spectrum of projects that the Design & Construction team completes and the challenges and hurdles they’re working on as they move from just completing projects to implementing project management best practices. It includes a discussion into the changes being made in delivery methods, vendor involvement and technology shifts. For those in project management, the presentation is an opportunity to learn project management principles that cross industry lines.

REMINDER: Our meetings are held usually on the last Friday of the month, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. We are always looking for volunteers to present at future breakfast meetings. Your topic can be on anything related to project management. The presentation should last for approximately 45-50 minutes and you will receive 5 PDU’s for your time and effort.
