Speaker Bio:
Darren Hooks is the founder and CEO of Kairos Solutions, LLC. He has over 35 years of corporate experience in Engineering, Marketing, Human Resources, and Project/Program Management. His mission is to reach, teach, impact, and empower the next generation of Project Management leaders.
Darren is a USAF retired Lieutenant Colonel with 25 years of service and deployments to Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, UAE, and Saudi Arabia. He received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Tuskegee University, an MBA in Technology Management at the University of Phoenix, Masters's Certificate in Project Management at George Washington University. He maintains an active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through PMI. Darren understands what it takes to lead with integrity, empathy, and resilience. When not helping others achieve their goals, he enjoys camping, motorcycle riding, boating, and listening to 70s, 80s, and 90s old-school music.
