Andrew Pickering is a project management professional with experience working in healthcare and higher education for 10 years. As a PMP certificate holder, he helps organizations plan and execute projects with interdisciplinary teams in a constantly shifting landscape. He believes all projects can be managed efficiently through planning but should always have room to evolve and adapt. He thinks of education as the foundation of human achievement and currently works with ASU Academic Enterprise Enrollment to help grow immersion programs in Arizona and California. Andrew feels, "We all use project management regardless of our work, and having the tools to execute projects can drastically improve outcomes. Using traditional, agile, and hybrid approaches and effective communication - any project is possible!"

Andrew looks forward to learning new ways to be an effective project manager, and wants to share his knowledge with others so they can excel as project managers in any field. In his free-time, he enjoys hiking the beautiful Arizona landscape with his Australian shepherd, Bowie, cooking new and interesting food with his wife, and reading a good book. Andrew strongly feels that everyday is an opportunity to expand your knowledge, and he tries to seize those opportunities when they come.
