Course Description:

This intensive course provides experienced project managers with the knowledge of concepts, terminology, and techniques that are addressed on the PMP® exam from the Project Management Institute (PMI®).

In addition to providing the 35 hours of specific instruction required to sit for the Project Management Professional (PMP®) exam from PMI, the course also provides access to online flashcards and sample tests.

This course is based on the 6th edition of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) and other current titles on project management and addresses the domains and tasks identified on the Exam Content Outline, upon which the exam is based.

Mandatory and/or desirable pre-requisites:

Individuals who:

• Are responsible for all aspects of the project for the life of the project
• Lead and direct cross-functional teams to deliver projects within the constraints of schedule, budget, and resources
• Demonstrate sufficient knowledge and experience to appropriately apply a methodology to projects that have reasonably well-defined project requirements and deliverables

Instructor Biography:

Greta Blash PgMP, PMP, PBA, ACP, CDAP

Greta Blash is a certified PMI Program (PgMP^®) and Project Manager Professional (PMP^®) with extensive experience as an executive and consulting IT professional, both domestically and internationally. Her areas of experience include Program Management, Project Management, Agile/Scrum, CRM, Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence and Application System Development.

Greta is certified as a PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP^®) and most recently has become a Certified Disciplined Agile Practitioner (CDAP).  She is also a PMI Professional Business Analyst (PMI-PBA^®) and has taught certification courses worldwide for the last 12 years. She has also served as V.P. of Education and Programs for at the PMI Southern Nevada Chapter (PMI-SNC), and Director of Military Outreach for PMI-SD, PMI-OC, PMI-LA and PMI-CIE.  She has held various SME roles supporting PMI Region 7 since 2012 as well as a frequent reviewer of PMI Publications.
